About Claire McMillan

I have been working in the field of self development for over 17 years, helping people to live the lives they want and deserve throughout this time. The journey to the way I now work began in 1990; I started by studying and then teaching complimentary medicine, in 1996 I moved on to study hypnotherapy and then it was a natural progression into NLP and coaching. An ardent believer in lifelong learning, I am now transitioning into NLP based psychotherapy.

My first career was with theatrical Costumes working in theatre, television and films. This brought me into contact with a wide range of high profile people at all levels in the industry. During this time I became aware of the effect that stress and motivation could have on the quality of people's lives and interested in finding ways to help improve or harness motivation and reduce stress.

All my studying has been fascinating and has lead me to a greater understanding of the human mind and body and what is possible if you invest a bit of time and effort toward what you want in life. 

Code of Practice

I am a SQHP member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and the International Coaching Federation and adhere to their codes of ethics. I am also a member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
